Rules and Regulations

Participation in this cycle event is entirely at your own risk, you must rely on your own ability in dealing with all hazards and you must ride in a manner which is safe for yourself and all others.

 

You also need to be aware that when riding on a public highway the function of the marshals is only to indicate direction and that you must decide whether the movement is safe.

 

In taking part in the Cycle youagree that no liability what so ever shall be attached to An Riocht, Race Sponsor, any Race Official or any Member of An Riocht in respect of injury, loss or damage suffered by yourself in or by reason of the event, however caused.


Helmets: The wearing of a Hard Shell Helmet during the event is compulsory.

 

Bicycles must be of road worthy condition

Participants in this Cycle are not covered by the GAA Player Injury scheme. 

Each individual should ensure that they have cover in place in the event of an accident as per their own individual requirements
